I hope my words will reduce to a quietness. I hope life will become a simplicity of action and love.

That's not to say that we should never speak. I'm just saying that there are so many words in the world, and a lot of those have been mine, yet always... there are people who need comforting by just being there with them, or having their practical needs met.

'Be still and know that I am God.' In the same way, where words trail off, sometimes God is known, simply in the quietness and God being there. We don't need to drown God out with our endless words, or be afraid of the long silences in conversation.

In the quiet places of our hearts and souls - in vast expanses of silence and presence - God longs to share in consciousness with us, to share in love and quietness and trust.
